Duck:
I think I'll just stroll around on this mud for a while 'cause it's so nice and firm. But where are all the worms? Gotta find some worms!

Holy Kow! Did you know that there are Zombie Fish? And they happen to be my favorite fish to eat, that is, before they go Zombie.

From another thread…
In context…
There must be a story behind this, right? Indeed there is!
Commercials, eh?

I haven't delved into Jennifer Connelly's Japanese CM œuvre, but I have seen the Technics ad and the Graham Norton clip (the latter after I had already bought the record).
I have a weakness for records by celebrities of the "They made a record?!?!" variety, especially when those records were never released in the U.S. I have two of the CDs that Alyssa Milano released in Japan, as well as [Jennifer] Love Hewitt's Japan-only CD, Love Songs, which came out when she was only 13 (she later released a few albums in the States, as well). They didn't record in Japanese, though; Jennifer Connelly's single is quite unusual in that regard.

I used to work in her neighborhood and she came to my job once. That was after she had lost a lot of weight so she didn't have those baby-faced cheeks of her youth, but she was still the amazingly beautiful woman seen in the Graham Norton clip.

Many years ago I bought a really nice matched set of scissors, one full-sized pair and one kit-sized pair. It was kind of a big deal for me at the time because I bought them to replace the old, blunt scissors that I took from my childhood home when I moved out. My parents let me take a lot of stuff like that in order to help me get started on my own, so it was a mini rite of passage to replace the old scissors with new ones that I selected and bought for myself.
A couple years later, but still many years ago, I lost the kit-sized pair. It was very frustrating — partly because I almost never lose things, partly because it ruined my memory of that rite of passage, and partly because it was a really nice pair of scissors, dammit.
I just found the kit-sized pair. They were in a kit. I build many kits for many different purposes, and I hadn't reviewed or rebuilt that particular kit in a long time.
Yeah, it's a small victory, but I'll take every one I can get this year.

You've got me beat by a little over a month!
Time does fly, but there are times when I kind of wish that it would spend a while waddling around quacking and looking for grubs and bugs.

Shiiiit.
I've been around for 9 years and that feels crazy!!
(On another, more somber note- the US Supreme Court and election situation has me tied up in all kinds of anxious knots

)
