Anyways, I had plenty of time to prepare myself for Gaki-san's graduation and even though I'm deeply saddened by this, after seeing how Ai-chan is continuing her activity in acting and in what she loves, I'm actually happier to see her follow her own path, and Gaki is the only graduating member that I feel this way for ♥

nothing weird about that. for the longest time Yuko was leader of H!P after she stopped being leader of MM. Waiting for official announcement but I wouldn't be surprised.

And going back to the other end of the timeline, was she actually regarded as the leader of H!P when she was the leader of MM? As I understand it, Nakazawa acknowledged Heike as her "dai-senpai".

Yeah, Heike was technically the first H!P member, so she was the first leader. Yuuko took over when Heike graduated.
