here is the announcement
they decided that Smileage will be once again the image chara for Akihabara like last time, but its a Winter campaign this time. you'll see promo posters of Smileage all over Akiba hanging over light poles, near the train stations and stuff. if you spend for a certain amount in this campaign you get a special Smileage Clearfile present or it can get you a lottery chance to go to Smileage's mini-live in Akiba, 12/11

I'm a little late on the draw here to talk about the dance video but i figure i will anyways. After hearing the song a few times it's really grown on me a lot and i enjoy how easy it is to remember. And it's great hearing all the members this time with nobody just being a backdancer. The dance itself is cute and fun. Looking forward to this single a lot more now. Even Meimi didn't bug me all that much i actually think her voice works well on a studio recording and it suited the song. and she was given equal solo lines with Akari so i can't really complain about it lol
Kana's mistakes being shown on video almost felt deliberate and with people calling out in support of her and cheering her on i definately think it was a good move. It's given her more character and endeared her to the fans now they just need to do something with Rina who has a nice voice and she can follow the dance steps with ease but she's still really boring. Akari again shows why she was chosen in the auditions she has a talent for dance and she sings well too showing her years as an egg did not go to waste. But she also has flair in her dancing which is a skill you can not teach anyone you either have it or you don't. Kanon showed a great deal of flair in her dance too and gave a great performence as she always does. The other original members delivered as expected too.
On the subject of it being more Yuuka-centric i think that would have been a waste. I'm sure it would have made her fans happy but they used this single instead to highlight the new members and give them a chance to show what they can do and it's drawing fans to them so it's done it's job. And i think Yuuka herself would rather pass the torch on her way out than just make everything about herself i honestly don't think she is that selfish. That's my two cents anyways.

If those are the upcoming single's outfit, I'm happy! They're exactly like I imagined them to be for this single (apart from them being green but it's okay), and they are going back to the classic S/mileage outfit just like old times!
Hooray for the new linup too since the girls all fit in perfectly, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference anymore between subs and main since they all look amazingly natural <3

the green outfits don't look like it would fit a song about mail delivery women and those handbags they were dancing to.
