Oricon reports Morning Musume. '14 makes history as the only lineup to get a 4th consecutive weekly #1, with 149k sold! This is their 55th Top 10 single, extending their record. Sayu thanks all the fans who supported them in getting this historic 4th consecutive #1.

Basically, in all of their 55 singles, there have never been 4 consecutive #1 on the oricon charts for weekly in a row.
...Until now. The record was 3, and now it is 4. This single is the fourth #1 weekly in a row. Help Me -> Brainstorming -> Wagamama -> Egao
Also, they did it prety much with the same lineup, just reina left between the last 2.

Also, they sold 149k, beating Wagamama's sales... so yeah. Not their highest sales ever, but they beat their last sales ^-^ (by 5k)

Also worth noting is that it beat Wagamama by about 5k with one less edition of the single. Wagamama had 7, whereas this one has 6. So less sales would have counted per box set this time around.

Well I understood, but I assumed the title of weekly #1's was AKB48s as they've been on that streak since River. I'm just confused on that part, but I get the rest of it.
