Somehow I find it incredibly cute that Shigesan is still tone-deaf after all these years. And that she's only one Aichan-withdrawal-induced nervous breakdown away from being the leader of Morning Musume.

Just got back to my hotel after seeing TWO Dream Morning Musume shows at Nakano Sunplaza!

For the evening show, I was in the very top/back row, but for the afternoon show I was in the fifth row, dead center! Being a tall gaijin in a bright yellow Yaguchi t-shirt, I'm sure that all of the girls must have seen me, and Mari waved at me after the encore.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING SHOW! The OGs are my Morning Musume, and seeing them perform the classics up close was indescribably wonderful. When they came onstage and performed "LOVE Machine", tears of joy came to my eyes and chills ran through my body.

I did make one fatal blunder today, though. If I had entered the hall earlier for the evening show, I would have been able to see some of the girls face to face, since they were at the charity donation table, personally thanking the fans. AAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!

Enough for now. I have a ton of stuff to pack, since I'm heading home tomorrow. At some point I'll post more about my trip (including lots of pictures) in Fifth Station.
