Tsubaki Factory is the group that was awkward while Kobushi Factory was on their A game. Tsubaki is now the one left standing without a single scandal and a bunch of popular and well selling songs under their belt while Kobushi had scandal after scandal and in the end dissolved. So for some reason being the tragic awkward underdogs is honestly what makes them kind of appealing. Your kind of root for them even though they are missing that spark that everyone else seems to have. Also the music is always on point so you can’t ignore that.

Not to be shady but... When was Kobushi's A-Game (I genuinely don't know)?

But also and it seems to be mentioned briefly here and there but people think Tsubaki lacks a spark???

I agree there seemed to be something missing initially but I feel like the addition of Mao, Mizuho, and Saori did a lot towards that.

I'm just a little dumbfounded now. I'm not going to argue others' perception of Tsubaki because we can't help how each of us perceives the group but personally I've been viewing them as this great little gem of a group.

Not to compare Apples to Oranges, but basically KF started strong while TF had a rough start. But this played out quite differently since their formation 5 years ago.

I guess for some people TF haven't been able to shake off that bad first impression. But that's their loss.

Promotion event

Tsubaki Factory will have online individual talk events with the service app WithLIVE. These events will be the first online talk events that lasts about two months (October to December 2020). You can make one-on-one video calls with your favorite members. The time allowed for each call is 45 seconds per frame (1 serial code). Requirements are : You must be Lawson WEB member, have a serial code from the single, and have the WithLIVE app.

The DanshaISM MV should be out this week. They seem to give about a 2 week gap between each MV. The views on Youtube are lower than usual in these times. They did it with ANGERME's MVs, and probably do the same for Tsubaki Factory. Not sure if they think this strategy works.

Has that happened before where the song changes between previews?


The only instance I can recall is Platinum Era talking about how Onna ni Sachi Are changed significantly between what was recorded and what got released due to Mikitty's scandal.

I wonder if something happened behind the scenes...

Sounds to me like they just mixed it to be a 1.5 version of the song instead of the usual full version.
I could be wrong of course ^^;
