Welcome to our eighth Secret Santa Exchange! And our second card exchange!?



"What's Secret Santa?"

A Secret Santa gift exchange works like this: Everyone that wants to participate is randomly assigned another person from the group to get a gift for. A cost ceiling is generally put in place (let's say $20). The identity of the person giving the gift is kept secret at least until the gift is given, though sometimes the sender never reveals him/herself.
In this case we will be mailing gifts, so do keep that in mind when shopping (perishables, fragile things, etc).
Also, who's up for a separate card exchange again this year? Sign up for one or the other, or both!

"How Do I Participate?"

1. Post in this thread with your intent to play. List either Secret Santa, Card Exchange, or both. If you're doing Secret Santa, add a list with your likes/dislikes/allergies to that post. This list should ideally include things outside of the H!P world because, let's face it, idol stuff is for the most part prohibitively expensive. ^^;
2. Send me a PM with your mailing address. Also let me know if you're willing to ship outside of your country. Foreign shipping costs can be expensive and I'll let you know if you can be accommodated.

The deadline to sign up is Sunday November 25th (Just under a week from now! Sorry, I got started on this thing late this year). The morning of Nov 26th I'll have my husband match everyone's names up randomly with one another and he will PM everyone their Secret Santa's info. Please refer to this thread for their likes/dislikes!

I've acquired a ton of cardstock recently, so I can probably participate in the card exchange.
Oh, it should be noted I can only ship within the United States!
It takes half an hour just to get to my post office, so anything I can just pop in the mailbox and be done with is preferable.

For My Secret Santa.

I like. Art is great, I'm a BIG Alphonse Mucha fan.
I collect art supplies, mainly marker and watercolors.

My geek side. I watch a bit of anime. Love, My Hero Academia and Sailor Moon is nostalgia. Astronomy is my jam. Star Trek, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Harry Potter, all great. I started to play D&D. But I'm still a newb. I JUST bought a Nintendo Switch. So I'm trying to get back into gaming.

I love to travel. Japan is a personal favorite place. Would love to visit the UK and Ireland some day. I also like cooking and baking occasionally.

Love cute things. Anything squishy or soft and fluffy.
Alpaca, whales, owls, bunnies, pandas and dogs and cats. I love all animals!

I could use stuff for my office at work.

H!P related. I’m a Morning Musume fangirl. Kago Ai And Oda Sakura. Love them. I also love Suu-San which is Suzuki Airi’s character that she draws.


Things not to get me.

Because of my Invisalign I just got, please no food that’s hard or chewy. It’s hard for me to eat. TT-TT

I have a slight allergy to tree nuts and Lily’s.

No coffee mugs or kitchen utensils I have too many and my mother keeps telling me to get rid of some but I keep buying them anyway.

OK - I'm in for both the Secret Santa and card exchange.

Likes - pretty much anything interesting/unusual/distinctive/off-the-wall.

Dislikes - giant bat-winged, flying, fire-breathing vampire centipedes (they track too much dirt into the house).
